Why do spatulas and pots have handles, but bowls and plates on the dining table do not?
Japanese design studio nendo has teamed up with Mino Ware brand Miyama to rethink the relationship between tableware and hands.

The totte series is inspired by the "stability of tools."
Designer Oki Sato intentionally added sleek handles to ceramic bowls, creating not just a visual focal point, but also unprecedented convenience for daily life.

Functional Aesthetics
The handle design provides greater safety and stability when serving hot soups or freshly heated snacks.

Flexible Storage
In addition to stacking, the handle's hole allows for hanging storage, turning the tableware into a decorative element on the kitchen wall.

Exquisite Craftsmanship
Combining nendo's minimalist design with Miyama's high-quality white porcelain technique from traditional Mino Ware, the result is a piece that is warm to the touch and sturdy.

Five Vibrant Colors
Carefully selected white porcelain, light blue, pink, orange, and black – the gentle hues seamlessly complement various dining table styles.

Precautions

- Microwave and dishwasher safe

- This product is semi-handmade. The following phenomena are normal handcrafted characteristics and not quality defects:

Slight protrusions: Occasional minute protrusions or glaze marks may appear in the center of the ware. These are natural marks formed during manual glazing when the glaze gathers at the bottom center due to gravity and solidifies after firing and cooling. They do not affect usability or structural integrity.

Uniqueness: Due to manual glazing and kiln placement, each product may have subtle variations in color depth, patterns, or tiny pinholes on the surface, showcasing the unique charm of handmade pottery.
